At Becket Primary School, your child is at the centre of everything that we do. I am proud to say that I feel we are a fully inclusive school and welcome children from all cultures, communities and backgrounds to flourish, irrespective of their starting points, abilities or barriers to learning. I have been fortunate enough to lead the school since September 2021, and am proud to be part of such an innovative, inspirational team with supportive parents and children who display an excellent attitude to learning. 

The curriculum on offer at Becket Primary is designed to challenge, engage and motivate all children and develop them to be resilient and independent thinkers, with a ‘can do’ attitude, empowering them to take ownership and responsibility for their own learning as well as their conduct and behaviour.

Our parents are our partners in this education journey and we seek to include them in all that we do so that they can best support their child to make the most out of their time at school. You will find all our staff to be approachable and willing to help in any way they can as we all have the same goal which is to ensure our children have the best possible start in life.

The safeguarding and well-being of the children in our care is of paramount importance, and staff are on hand to discuss any concerns or worries that children may have and these will be dealt with quickly and effectively so that school is a happy and safe place for them to be.
