Safeguarding

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everybody’s responsibility.

If at any point there is a risk of immediate, serious harm to a child, a referral should be made to Children’s Social Care and/or the police straight away.

Anybody can make the referral.  Call Ashtree House on 01332 641142.

If you would prefer to speak in confidence to a person external to our school you can call the NSPCC Helpline on 0800 028 0285.

If you have ANY concerns about a child please speak immediately to our Safeguarding Team:

  • Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs A. Guest, Headteacher
  • Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mr A Beattie, Deputy Headteacher
  • Staff with Safeguarding Responsibility: Mr I Ridgway, Assistant Headteacher

The email account will be monitored weekly and emails responded to over holiday periods from parents and carers as well as professionals regarding safeguarding issues.
