Becket Primary School

Inclusion

At Becket Primary School, we believe that every child should feel valued, supported and able to achieve their full potential. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where all children are welcomed, respected and encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We recognise that every child is unique and may need different levels or types of support throughout their school journey. Whether a child has special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), requires additional pastoral support, has medical needs, faces barriers to attendance, or simply needs a little extra help at a particular time, we work closely with families to ensure that the right support is in place.

Our dedicated Inclusion Team works alongside teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies to identify needs early, remove barriers to learning and promote positive wellbeing for all children. We are committed to ensuring that every pupil feels safe, included and able to participate fully in school life.

Within this section of our website, you will find information about SEND, safeguarding, attendance support, wellbeing, equality, accessibility and the wider support available to children and families at Becket Primary School.

Together, we strive to ensure that every child is known, valued and successful.

At Becket Primary School, we believe that inclusion is not about helping children fit into school; it is about ensuring that our school meets the needs of every child.
